Comprehensive exterior window replacement - Highlights:

• We acted as the Engineer-of-Record for a comprehensive exterior window replacement at this 37-unit residential concrete building constructed in 1961.

• We designed structural steel stud frames to accept the windows and designed the building envelope details. The resulting combination allowed the client to use punched vinyl windows and sliding doors which likely significantly improved its energy performance at a reasonable cost

• By integrating our versatile knowledge of building envelope and structures, we were able to assist the client address their building's specific challenges with a bespoke solution that is both aesthetically pleasing, and high performance at a reasonable cost.
