Our Leadership
David grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he gained hands-on experience working summers in construction with his dad, a glazing contractor. This early exposure provided him with a practical understanding of construction principles.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, David joined several larger firms with a focus on building science and structural engineering. He then went on to spend seven years at a new engineering firm, where his exceptional leadership played a cornerstone role in growing the firm from a 5 person team to over 30 in the course of 7 years.
As a client-focused and well-rounded professional engineer, David is dedicated to assessing all feasible options for you. His technical expertise and construction experience allow him to implement both industry-leading, reliable results and safe, custom solutions when called upon.
With over 15 years in the engineering consulting industry, in 2023, David founded Imperial Engineering Inc. to provide the highest level of service to his clients without compromise.
